Whether you are creating social media content, networking offline to build your relationships or showing up in online groups hoping to create value you need to have a strong stand out message to even begin to turn people’s heads in your direction, let alone turn those into conversation and paying clients. 

While all of these can work and need to be a part of your marketing if you are looking at building a long term sustainable business, they are not quick and they can be a total turn off if your message isn’t clear. Why me

To be honest until someone mirrored back to me recently why I seem to always gravitate to finding the shortest route to creating business, I didn’t even see it myself! This is why I know we need another pair of eyes on what we can’t see for ourselves. 

I have been running my own business since 2008 which was an offline vocal practice. In 2019 I took the brave decision to close a full practice because my heart was calling me onwards to new opportunities and Maverick Communication was born. I took my skill and transferred it to a totally new market and my second business made as much in 7 months as my first had in 7 years!  I seemed to have a knack for choosing which routes to visibility I needed and learned to adapt and refine the message until I had nailed it. 

I had to pivot fully online September 2019 in 90 minutes when my husband had a sudden heart failure and my life totally changed. I know what it is like to have to start again, pivot, and you can read my story in Matthew Pollard’s book The Introvert’s Edge to Networking!

In 2020 I launched The Visible Club and together with my tech savvy partner Anke we support and help solopreneurs take their offline businesses online, master their message, grow an audience and learn how to raise their visibility and confidence so they can thrive in this new hybrid space. 

I know what it’s like to have to adapt to difficult circumstances and I know how to connect the dots to create the right message and visibility for my clients. I am just like you, running a business while managing a family, my husband’s cancer journey. I’m not a guru, don’t want to be one and you won’t find me taking selfies of my laptop lifestyle or parading my every move on social media. 

I just want to do great work in the world and love helping my clients shine.

Why now? 

• Because it’s not getting any easier and you know it. If all you are doing is attending networking meetings that’s great, but you might find it’s slow because no one thinks they can refer you. They don’t really get you, what you do or who you do it for.
